Citi Handlowy Bikes – we answer your questions

The Citi Handlowy Bikes (CHB) application, launched in June, will be available for the users of the Warsaw urban bikes system made available by Veturilo. This app can be used instead of Nextbike with new and improved features. Below we will answer the most frequently addressed questions about the new app.
Was the launch of the CHB app aimed to make my personal data (including PESEL) available to the outside company?

Using the Citi Handlowy Bikes (CHB) app does not transfer personal data to the bank. They remain safe with the operator of the urban bikes system (Veturilo- Nextbike Polska) to provide urban bike rental services.

Both applications (Citi Handlowy Bikes and Veturilo) allow for additional, voluntary consents for processing personal data for marketing and promotional purposes.

After uninstalling the Nextbike app my accumulated funds have disappeared from the account.

Uninstalling the Nextbike application for Warsaw does not cause accumulated funds to disperse- they are available on the Veturilo account. The funds are accessable using the Veturilo or Citi Handlowy Bikes application, which are both connected to the Veturilo account.

I downloaded the Citi Handlowy Bikes application and typed in my data, however, I cannot log into the app.

The error occurred because the user attempted to sign into the account with the data for the Veturilo account. This option has recently been made available (since August) and Veturilo account holders can sign into their accounts using the CHB application.
